This fight is to take place in November with a new 3 fight contract with Couture. This one will be for the Heavyweight title, which makes no sense considering Mir beat Lesnar. But I guess the UFC has to have that shitty Ultimate fighter show. The winner of the Mir-Nogueira fight will be the next contender for the Heavyweight title.

There was also a promise that Dana White would try to get the Fedor fight to happen sometime in 2009, but is not interested in doing a co-promotion with Affliction.

Affliction is trying to set up a fight between Champion Kickboxer Jerome LeBanner and Champion Ugly Guy Tim Sylvia. LeBanner has dipped his balls in MMA, sporting a 3-1-1 record. He is 6′3 264 pounds of Rock Solid Man. (That was pretty gay)
And of course Tim Sylvia is 6′8 260 pounds of pure fat-ass ugly. And sports a record of 24-5 with the worst beard on record.

There has been an ongoing battle between KJ Noon’s Manager and EliteXC to have a rematch with Nick Diaz. So far the argument he brings the table is that Nick Diaz shouldn’t be a contender for the title. HMMMM didn’t KJ beat Diaz for the title? So if he isn’t considered a contender than what does that make KJ? It makes him a pussy for letting his manager do all the talking for him. In my opinion this is the next contender for his title.

Another fight has been added to the Strikeforce at the Mansion card on Sept. 20th. Josh Thomson who just beat Gilbert Milendez will defend his title against Ashe Bowman. Ashe comes from the Lion’s Den so you know he sucks. The Strikeforce card is starting to look good, adding to the already Riggs-Misaki and Babalu-Southworth. But I’m more looking forward to seeing her there.
